Nunu Chu is a design studio founded in 2024, dedicated to bringing warmth and companionship into everyday spaces. Each piece is created not simply as an object, but as a quiet presence — something to sit beside, to return to, and to find comfort in.
Nunu Chu 是努努於 2024 年創立的品牌,致力於將療癒與陪伴的元素帶入日常空間之中。每一件作品的誕生，不只是作為一個物件存在，
而是作為一種安靜的陪伴，可以依偎，可以從中找到慰藉的存在。
Nunu Chu ( Yun Cheng Chu ) is a Taiwanese de- signer and artist based in London, recently graduated from Central Saint Martins with an MA Furniture Design. With a foundation in arts and fashion design, Yun Cheng's work examines the complex relationship between humans and objects through psychological, emotional, and social lenses. Drawing from ex- istential philosophy, their practice en- gages with themes of alienation, loneliness, and the human need for connection in contemporary life. Through playful, sculptural and un- conventional forms, Yun Cheng re- flects on the vulnerabilities and con- tradictions inherent in human nature.
努努(褚耘成)是一位居住於倫敦的台灣設計師與藝術家,近期畢業於中央聖馬丁藝術與設計學院家具設計碩士。
擁有藝術與服裝設計的背景,褚耘成的創作透過心理、
情感與社會的視角,探討人與物件之間複雜的關係。他的創作實踐取材自存在主義哲學,關注疏離、孤獨，以及當代生活中人們對連結的渴望。
透過帶有遊戲感、雕塑性、且不落俗套的形式，反思人性中固有的脆弱與矛盾。
I have always been drawn to quiet, overlooked things — the small flower trapped on a roadside, the grass that never moves. I wondered whether they felt lonely, whether they were cold in the rain. These questions led me to ask deeper ones: who am I, and why am I myself rather than that flower? This curiosity brought me to existentialism and psychology. I believe the most pro- found human pain cannot be fully understood, only gently held. My practice materia- lises these invisible emotional states into objects we can touch and sit beside, offer- ing quiet companionship.
我一直被安靜的、容易被忽略的事物所吸引——被困在路邊的一朵小花,一片從不移動的草地。我會想它們是否感到孤獨,是否在雨中感到寒冷。
這些疑問引領我思考更深層的問題:我是誰,為什麼我是我自己,而不是那朵花?
這份好奇心帶我走向存在主義與心理學。我相信人類最深刻的痛苦無法被完全理解,只能被溫柔地承接。
我的創作實踐,將這些無形的情感狀態,轉化為可以被觸摸、可以陪伴我們坐在一旁的物件,提供一種安靜的陪伴。
