These models were made by collaging discarded materials found on the streets of London — packaging waste, supermarket produce crates, everyday things no longer wanted. Store-bought materials often come new, but identical — shaped by rules that leave little room to wonder. These discarded objects, on the other hand, each carry a memory of their own — their texture, their scent, the traces of having been used, telling a story that belongs only to them. With no precise drawings, just hands and instinct, I listened to what each material was telling me, and found a way to bring them together.
